First Place Overall in Mosport Enduro!

Daniel Earle and co-driver Gary Browne in the #83 Power Bus Way Radical SR3 took home a memorable win in the 3-Hour Enduro of the BEMC Indian Summer Trophy Races held at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park on Sunday.

Earle started the race with heavy rain having already flooded parts of the track and putting their low-slung Radical SR3 at a distinct disadvantage versus the other race cars. With a cautious start, he was swarmed by GT cars and lost a number of places into Turn 1. Of the conditions, he stated

"You simply cannot drive slow enough to overcome standing water that rises above the floor of the car and on a number of occasions I ended up way off line. In fact, twice I ended up nearly in the pit lane before being able to reclaim control of the car. Sitting low in the cockpit, the spray was also a huge challenge, but eventually conditions improved and we regained the advantage."

Mid-way through his approximately 90-minute stint he had fallen to a 55 second deficit before the rainfall had lightened and he was able to start setting fastest lap after fastest lap. Aided by a fortuitous safety car period, he eventually handed off a 25 second advantage to co-driver Gary Browne who brought the car home for the win.
