Beating a Storh WF1 for the Win!

Hopping back into the Team Earle #39 Camp Ooch Radical SR3 after the endurance race yesterday, Daniel Earle took home a thrilling win over a faster Storh Wf1 in the final race of the Formula Libre category of the BEMC Spring Trophy Races at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park on Sunday.

The Storh of Mark McDonald started in front after a win in the preceding race with a 4.5 second margin after lapping in the 1:21-range so Earle had his work cut out for him to get the chequered. This is what he had to say:

"McDonald was on it immediately and got the early lead, but I was able to reel him back to within half a dozen car lengths or so before the turbulent air coming off his car made it very difficult to close up further."

"Toward the end of the race, though, he started slowing and I got close before he got off line coming out of Turn 5 and I out-dragged him up the back straight. From there it was simply a matter of holding on and bringing it home."
