About Daniel Earle

Daniel Earle is the captain of Team Earle and Campfire Circle’s ambassador on the motor speedway. An executive in Canada’s natural resources sector and a long-time supporter of philanthropic causes, Daniel is also a passionate racer.

In his youth, Daniel Earle was a camper at one of Campfire Circle’s predecessors, Camp Oochigeas, where he spent many happy days swimming, hiking, climbing, and making lifelong friends. Because of this personal connection, his partnership with Campfire Circle is a natural fit. Campfire Circle gives children with cancer and other serious illnesses a place to play outdoors in the sunshine, make lifelong friends, and simply be themselves for a while.

Since Daniel’s collaboration with the Campfire Circle began, he and his #39 Radical Motorsport model SR3 have participated in children’s cancer charity events across North America, competing on race tracks in Ontario, Quebec, and the United States. Beyond his roles as captain of Team Earle and ambassador for Campfire Circle, Daniel Earle is the President and CEO of Highlander Silver. Prior to that, Daniel served as President and CEO of Solaris Resources for five years, and Vice President and Director of TD Securities covering the mining sector for more than twelve years. He is also a long-serving member of Augusta Corp and Augusta Gold Corp.’s Board of Directors.

Racing for a Cause

Through Team Earle, Daniel channels his lifelong passion for racing into benefiting an organization that holds a special place in his heart. He believes that supporting important causes like Campfire Circle is most effectively accomplished by promoting fun events, such as charity racing and other charity car events, that entertain people and motivate them to contribute.

The way he brings this philosophy to life is by using his race car as a platform for awareness and fundraising. When Daniel hits the track, his race car is covered with the logos of prominent donors to Campfire Circle. This promotion shows gratitude to donors and is aimed at inspiring others to commit to future donations.

Campfire Circle

Campfire Circle is a volunteer-based charity that provides fun, enriching experiences for kids with cancer or other serious illnesses and their families. Campfire Circle creates safe and welcoming spaces where kids can connect with others who understand their journey and see each other for who they are, not what they have. Often referred to as a “social cure for cancer,” Campfire Circle helps restore a sense of normalcy, confidence, and joy to children facing major health challenges.

The organization was formed in 2020 through the merger of two long-standing Ontario charities, Camp Oochigeas and Camp Trillium, each of which had been running summer camps and year-round recreational programs since the 1980s. In 2022, the merged organization rebranded itself as Campfire Circle. Today, it serves thousands of children and families across the province through in-hospital, community-based, and overnight camp programs.

Campfire Circle Muskoka is the only overnight oncology camp in Canada equipped to provide onsite IV chemotherapy and blood transfusions, ensuring that children with complex medical needs can fully participate in a traditional camp experience. The organization also operates Ooch Downtown, an urban camp in Toronto, and runs programs at leading pediatric oncology centers, including SickKids Hospital and three regional treatment centers in Southern Ontario. It also hosts a summer Day Camp for children ages 4-7 in partnership with Camp Robin Hood, a 52-acre private camp facility located in Markham that has been operating for 60 years.

Campfire Circle offers a wide range of activities for its campers, everything from archery, swimming, and canoeing to drama, dance, and nature studies. Beyond traditional summer camp activities, it also provides in-hospital programming that brings games, music, and many forms of play to children undergoing treatment, often meeting families on the day of diagnosis. The organization offers special programs for bereaved siblings to help them process their grief while building lifelong connections.

Every program offered by Campfire Circle is fully accessible and made available free of charge to affected families. This is made possible by dedicated volunteers, specialized medical staff, and generous donors. A proud member of the Ontario Camps Association and the Children’s Oncology Camping Association–International, Campfire Circle’s core mission is to bring healing through happiness, delivering the magic of camp to more kids, more often, in more places.
